Davis Freeman Photographer

Triptych: TRIP-tik Etymology: Greek triptychs having three folds a : a picture in three panels side by side b : something composed or presented in three parts or sections. Portraiture has always been Davis Freeman’s true passion. Davis has created a style that is distinctly his with his family triptychs. His unique portrait style is reflective of our times, original and portrays the character of the family as individuals and as a cohesive, interconnected unit. Participating in a triptych session with Davis is creative, fun and different from any studio portrait you’ve sat for. There are laughs, hugs, and kidding in the session with Davis. He captures natural expressions creating a truly provocative, original image – a true work of photographic art that your family will enjoy for a lifetime. The same artistic philosophy imbues Davis’s individual portrait style. Most people assume that a smile is always a desired element in a portrait – Davis however works to capture the nuances of individual expression capturing the essence of the subject – sometimes it is the enraptured expression of the new mother gazing at her infant child; the young couple joyfully, playfully in love; or the fresh beauty of the young girl stepping away from childhood into the world of being “grown-up” – Davis’s portraits are about the person. His portraiture fits the individual instead of trying to make the individual fit the portrait form. Visit Davis’s studio for a portrait consultation and view his collection of photographic art images.
